Althought most peoples intruducing the this series is the Anime, I want to cover the manga first. Originally came out on shonen jump as three diffrernt one shots, being the intuductions of our main characters. and we follow these three (Maka & Soul, BlackāStar & Tsubaki, Death the Kid & Thomson Sisters). Anime and the manga are roughly the same until 40 chapters after that point the anime makes up their own ending and the manga goes on for 72 more chapters.
